I worked on troubleshooting my PC's video issues. I noticed the hard drive LED didn’t light up when powering on, which likely caused the video loss. I connected a USB Windows boot flash drive to the back of the computer and restarted using the power button. The PC booted normally afterward.

Now, I can’t start the PC from the power button without the USB drive. I performed an F12 during startup and reviewed the screens in the attached photos. The first screen displayed “my bios has been reset,” which is confusing—I’m unsure if this reset was normal. The second screen showed a correct boot sequence. Still, I don’t see the hard drive detected at startup. Any advice on resolving this?

I’ve replaced the CMOS battery and updated the BIOS to the latest version. I attempted to upload photos of the BIOS screens but couldn’t complete the process.

This notification about a BIOS reset following CMOS battery replacement is typical, since that maintains the saved configurations.
Check if your hard drive appears in the BIOS settings by referring to page 31 of the SATA configuration manual.

Upon powering on, the CPU fan activates and the MB I/O lights turn on, but the front panel LED for hard drive operation remains off, suggesting a possible detection issue. Checking the manual on page 31 shows your SATA settings: AHCI mode, chipset SATA port enabled, hot plug enabled, and ports 0-7 not installed. Everything seems correctly configured.
