After installing the new hardware, my PC displays a BIOS menu instead of launching directly into Windows. I’ve confirmed the boot drive order and that my Windows installation is on the correct disk. My motherboard is an MSI A320M PRO VH, and I wasn’t aware of any issues until a system reset caused the BIOS to override Windows. The BIOS update seems to be interfering with the boot process, which is why it restarts me back to Windows 10. My previous system had a different configuration with older components, but now the changes are affecting the boot sequence.

Before the clean installation, you managed to boot into Windows. However, during setup complications arose, leaving you stuck on a particular screen. Would restart the installation from a bootable media and attempt it again?

It seems typical for MSI motherboards. The boot screen looks just like the one you described.

Absolutely! The issue didn't occur prior to installing the new components.

The system restore process blocked the screen, preventing any further actions.

This interface stops you from choosing the boot device. Press delete to open BIOS, search for terms like 'splash screen' or 'full screen logo'. Disable it to remove the display. However, this screen doesn<|pad|> to not fully disable normal functions. Pressing F11 during it will show a selection menu where you can pick your installation media or boot drive. After sufficient time, it may boot into Windows if installed. If the system freezes repeatedly to black, your installation is corrupt and you’ll need to reinstall Windows. Press F11 and choose your USB or DVD drive to start over.

Thanks! I attempted this before but questioned its effectiveness since I notice my boot drives for a brief moment before Windows starts. I’ll give it another try with confidence.

You may have the boot sequence right, but the drive priority is set incorrectly. This is typically found in a different setting within the boot menu.
