Gently move the motor toward the far right. Then push it firmly to the right while keeping the same angle. Make sure there are no screens on the motherboard.

Grip firmly on the I/O shield and shift the motherboard to the right, ensuring all screws are taken off.

The IO shield clicks into position once placed in the case. Light pressure on the outside of the case will cause it to release.

Start by removing the shield from the back of the case. Avoid using the motherboard to increase leverage.
