PC begins displaying pixel distortions during gameplay and then shuts down.
I built this system a month ago and everything worked perfectly at first. After a month of regular use, things remained stable until recently. A few days ago, while playing a game, the screen began displaying random pixel artifacts that spread across it. The PC froze for about ten seconds before shutting down completely. After restarting, the screen turned black again. When I tried to boot up, everything lit up but the display stayed dark. Only after resetting the BIOS did I regain access.
The BIOS screen appeared during the recovery process. Once I managed to boot, I was able to use the machine for a short period. However, when I started playing games, the PC would crash and restart repeatedly. There was an instance where the system crashed without any artifacts, but it triggered a DCP watchdog violation error.
Additionally, both the GPU and CPU remained within safe operating temperatures, averaging around 40-50 degrees Celsius during gameplay. Please help, I will be very thankful for your assistance.
I would use DDU to remove your graphics drivers and install the latest AMD driver yourself.
Here is a guide on the process.
It seems the refurbished card might be faulty—can you still accept it for return?
