PC becomes unresponsive during specific gameplay sessions
This situation is quite unusual and doesn’t make much sense. Even when playing select games, my in-game FPS drops significantly while my desktop becomes unresponsive and the mouse moves extremely slowly. This usually lasts around 10 to 20 seconds before returning to normal. I investigated by checking the task manager and saw processes using 40% to 80% of my system resources. Using Process Explorer didn’t reveal anything obvious. The most strange part happened about 10 seconds after the PC stuttered: my headphones would blast audio loudly, requiring me to switch between default and alternate audio devices. I’ve updated and reinstalled the drivers for my Arctis Nova Pros, but the issue persists. I also suspect the Steelseries GG sonar software might be interfering, though it didn’t help. If anyone has suggestions or advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
