Pc becomes sluggish following changes to the fan speed settings.
I attempted to fix the performance of my PC case fans by adjusting fan speeds and restarting Windows, but after that, my PC ran very slowly during games. Eventually, I tried using BIOS settings, but the system reset back to factory defaults and continued to be slow.

We're going to need a little more info. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time. In this instance, please mention the make and model of the fans you were tinkering with and how they're tethered to your system. If the fans came bundled with the case, then mentioning the make and model of the case will suffice.
