PC became suddenly unresponsive, losing the picture and shutting down auxiliary fans.
Playing a game unexpectedly caused the picture to vanish, with no GPU signal and all auxiliary fans halting. The game continued smoothly, producing sound and responding to keyboard and mouse inputs. This was the first time it happened. I reviewed the event log, but only error 41 appeared. All components except the GPU (7 years old) and SSDs (4 years old) were new. I also replaced the thermal paste last month with MX-4, and the system has been running cooler since then.
Check if your device has built-in graphics capabilities or a replacement GPU.
Consider repositioning the card carefully. Clean any residue from the contacts using a lint-free cloth dampened with alcohol, then use compressed air to clear the PCI slot. Occasionally, a small particle or debris can interfere unexpectedly. If this was an isolated issue, try matching the conditions that led to it for better troubleshooting.
I've checked all options, also performed a BIOS reset. I'll check again tomorrow.
