I just installed a brand new PC last week. Key details: case – Corsair 4000x Mobo, PSU – Corsair CX650 RGB. The 4000x power button won’t work. Memory module works fine. The BIOS switch keeps the system booting, but it goes straight to BIOS settings. Not sure why this is happening… The case came with two power cables and the extra +/- cable as usual. Did you follow the TechSource guide for building the PC?
Are you currently linking the power switch from the case to the motherboard’s power switch pins? Check if your case includes a reset button; if it does, try swapping it for the motherboard’s reset pin and see if the PC powers on using the reset function. If that works, the issue likely lies with your case’s power switch. Otherwise, the problem might be with the motherboard or the case’s reset switch.
