Hello everyone, my issue began eight months ago when my PC would sometimes fail to start. I had to press the power button multiple times within a minute for it to turn on. After a weekend away and reconnecting the power extension, the machine didn’t start at all. Yesterday I finally managed to place my parts back inside the case onto an OpenBench Table and it functioned properly with bridging the power connections. Today it failed again. Over these eight months, whenever I tried to boot it, it mostly worked only when the LEDs lit up (just a few seconds). If the LEDs are off, the PC doesn’t start. When it does power up, there’s no crash or any beeping sounds from the memory. My thought is it could be related to the motherboard or power supply unit. I also suspected the power button in my case might be faulty. I haven't adjusted the PSU yet. I thought about asking some friends if they have a suitable one nearby.

It seems the PSU capacitors might be unstable or failing over time. Poor performance can lead to loss of charge capacity during startup surges, potentially causing the problem you're experiencing.

Thanks! I'll definitely look for another PSU and wish him the best.

You've got a fresh PSU, and the PC is working fine again. Thanks a lot!
