Hi, I need to squeeze more performance out of my 5950x chip. I'm using an MSI x570 Tomahawk with WiFi and a pure Loop 280mm cooler, so cooling shouldn't be a big concern. Your current PBO settings are: PPT 210, TDC 200, EDC 150, PBO Scalar 10X, Max CPU boost clock override 125, and the curve optimizer is per-core with best 2 cores at -15, then -20, -30 for the rest. If you can help, suggest tweaks to get better single-core performance or ensure multi-core runs smoothly.

In my experience there tends to be some negative scaling above around 180 TDC, so lowering that might help you a little bit, especially in single thread workloads (the PBO limits are weird and max performance settings in one workload like Cinebench can be very different from max performance settings in something like Y Cruncher, Blender, code compiles, Adobe suite, etc.). Usually single thread workloads tend to sweet spot TDC at a lower TDC/EDC value (just leave them the same, saves you some work down the road), and multi thread workloads tend to sweet spot at a higher TDC/EDC. Aside from that, you're pretty much maxed out with your PBO settings, not a lot more you can do.

Alright, I'll examine reducing TDC values. Adjusting the curve optimizer might affect things, but it's more likely to impact overall single-core performance.
