Tomorrow I’ll install a new Corsair H100i Pro cooler for my Ryzen 5 3600. It’s running hot, so I’m considering tweaking BIOS settings. I’ve enabled PBO from the BIOS but want more optimization—should I adjust voltage or other parameters to help the CPU stay cooler? Also, with a better case and improved airflow, performance should improve further. What else can I change in the BIOS?
You've likely only heard that reducing voltage helps the CPU stay cooler and prevents it from throttling. Lowering the voltage can indeed improve performance while managing heat.

So I haven't adjusted anything with the voltage yet—it's set to its default. What you're doing is turning on PBO and the scalar version at their maximum settings, which should cover most needs. I've also activated the options, but it seems there isn't a dedicated "max option" available.
