I bought a fresh case for my first build. I upgraded to Fractal Torrent (Corsair 4000D) and moved my components along with a modular power supply. The setup includes Windows 10 64x, MSI PRO B650 MA Ryzen 5 7600X, Dark Rock Pro 4, 32GB 16x2 Corsair Vengeance RAM, 4060 Thermaltake ToughPower GX2 600W, and a new Be Quiet Pure Power 12M 550W PSU. I removed everything, rearranged the cables inside the case, and connected it all. Power came on, fans started spinning, but nothing displayed. The board lights up red and yellow, and the manual mentions CPU and RAM issues. I tried resetting it, still no improvement. After disconnecting the GPU, cooler, CPU, and RAM, I reinserted everything and restarted again—still nothing. I’m not sure what’s wrong. My guess is I might have misconnected the PSU connectors, but everything seems in the right place. If you don’t mind, I’d love some case suggestions with similar cooling but better cable management and a micro ATX size.

Consider rearranging RAM across all modules in each slot initially. Swap the CPU and inspect for any bent pins on it.

Check your old PSU and attempt to boot from it to observe the outcome.

It seems your PSU might not be delivering sufficient power.

The 550W might not be sufficient; consider purchasing a 650W power supply for the best performance from reputable brands such as Corsair, EVGA, Thermaltake, and Deepcool. Updated: January 19, 2024 by Chapunna

Go to the PSU store, check their return policy, and consider purchasing another item.

I recommend choosing a material with good flexibility and a reasonable length for bending.
