PC specifications include an Intel Core i5 processor, ASUS Z87M-PLUS motherboard, and a high-end GPU. The power setup was upgraded with an EVGA BQ Series power supply, but performance issues persist. The system appears unresponsive to fans or lights, and it remains completely inactive even after replacing the power supply. Consider checking for hardware faults, BIOS updates, or potential overheating concerns.
Hey, i'm looking into this, however maybe next time include a landscape image that doesn't cut off the error you're asking about
The timeline indicates the problem started after replacing the power supply unit, which failed completely. You noticed the setup message on the screen initially. Pressing F1 during setup likely initiated a configuration process, but it didn’t resolve the issue. The image you saw was visible before the PSU stopped working.
Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, the mrs. captured the image right before shutdown. The message showed up, then it restarted but kept crashing again. It didn’t power on at all—no fans spinning or LEDs lighting up. I suspect the power supply unit might be faulty. I replaced the PSU today and still had no improvement. Now I see a green LED on the motherboard, so it seems the motherboard itself is okay. I tried putting the RAM in different slots but nothing changed.
