I've experienced it before, especially with pre-alpha updates. Seeing those worlds really moved me, but now I just need a well-built UT game. No shooter has come close—even Quake didn't. I don't mind if it's not free; I'll pay for it. Even the Doom MP community is active enough to call it populated. Seriously, Doom is terrible!

It was worth noting about the Paladins. For hero shooters aside from that, Lawbreakers stood out as a stronger option, though it followed a similar route to Paragon. I began playing Smite right away, which felt distinct in terms of perspective, and really appreciated the WASD controls.

I'm excited to see new UT gain traction too—it's just enjoyable. I usually try a few games from time to time. I'm definitely looking forward to its progress. Right now, I'm playing Quake Champions since the early closed beta, and I really enjoy it. For UT, it seems like it'll take some time before things improve. Still, I'd prefer to pay for it rather than get something free for no clear reason. I also played DOOM MP quite a bit, even though I had mixed feelings about it as an arena FPS. It was still fun!

A complete refund means no issues to address.

Q.Q Paragon is perfect for me! I really enjoy this game! It's a bit sad to see it end... But maybe the refund will help with my Vive Pro... :'( For everyone talking about the card system, I still prefer the original version, no matter how flawed it seemed. Each card significantly impacted your character, and crafting your deck could shape not just your success in the game, but also your path toward different styles. It brought a solid strategic depth to building decks, and while most players suggest certain cards for specific characters, you can always deviate and create effective builds with unconventional options. I get why some didn't like it, but it added another dimension beyond the usual FPS/AoS mechanics that many games become focused on later.
