Z390 board with 2666MHz or quicker RAM – compatibility check for 1080 at 1440p/144Hz. Approved. Note: Results may vary based on selected titles. Edited July 4, 2020 by Eighjan

I understand the 1080 isn't thrilled about this, but I'll just wait and see what happens. Ampere might react too. Could you clarify which boards have strong VRM performance? Do you need cooling solutions? Which RAM options should I consider? Should I go with 16GB or 32GB? A 3200MHz speed? Which CL offers the best balance? It's a lot to process, but I'm planning to stay on my computer build for 3 to 4 years—thank you!

Cl16 3200 looks solid. The budget is good for the CPU.

CPU cooler... it seems like a recurring issue. 16GB should work just fine. The 3200MHz RAM might even be more affordable than the 2666 option. Since I haven’t used a Z390 kit before, I’ll let others handle that.

Budget stays near 100 to 150 dollars for the monitor, I’m flexible. Regarding cooling, I’d suggest something reliable yet affordable—look for a decent model with good thermal management without breaking the bank.
