I previously dealt with this topic regarding the pagefile. My setup already manages it efficiently, and I frequently play games like ARMA 3. Whether it’s beneficial to have a 16GB pagefile depends on your system specs. Right now, it’s allocating 16GB automatically.

Pagefile relies on your hard drive instead of RAM, which is much slower. With 16GB of RAM, this shouldn't be an issue.

Turning off the pagefile might cause issues; it’s better for Windows to manage it. You can attempt to shrink its size, restart, and then switch it back to automatic so Windows can decide the optimal configuration for your setup.

Disabling it has no effect. However, using 16GB could lead to crashes or system issues—keep the automatic setting. It shouldn’t cause any problems.

Consider your storage type—keep the pagefile on your HDD for stability or move it to an SSD for faster performance.

Your image shows only 1GB of memory assigned, not 16GB as expected.

I don't think it will capture the full value in TB, so SSD should work well

Even though my OS is on my HDD? SSD is 256GB aswell. Yeah, because I was fiddling around with the min/max before, It used to be allocated with 16gb.

Consider upgrading to an SSD for faster performance. Just ensure it's connected properly.
