Hey! I'm back with dual booting UBUBTU and really enjoying coding here while learning terminal commands. The only thing bothering me is the 2-finger scroll speed in Chrome—it's too fast. Anyone know how to slow it down on a laptop trackpad? Thanks for your help!
It appears unusual since Chromium and its versions are often linked to slower scrolling; 521211 - Linux scroll speed is insufficient. Chrome’s performance may improve after a future update. However, Firefox’s speed could also play a role, possibly due to your desktop environment’s scrolling settings. You might want to adjust xinput settings. In the list, locate your mouse ID and search for “Evdev scrolling distance.” If absent, try another ID. Then modify the prop with `xinput set-prop <id> 'Evdev Scrolling Distance' 1 3 5`. Adjust until it works best. Remember to save the original value before making changes. Updated January 22, 2023 by peotr26
