How many of you charge 60-70$ for Windows? Or any payment at all? This is ridiculous https://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/progra...jamforelse. That’s 200$ for Windows in Sweden, right? What the actual fuck?

This poll works well for such topics. I prefer Windows over buying it new, usually spending around £30 on the license. I think that covers the cost for the software and its updates, plus support. It’s a good value compared to professional options. Compared to paid alternatives, Windows is essentially free. I don’t understand why people resist paying for it.

I understand, free from work and then getting paid to fix it makes sense.

I don't. I reuse outdated Windows shortcuts from my dad's damaged computers or the ones I receive (they actually function). Or I just use it without a license, which only hides the color changes and adds a watermark.

Yes, very old laptops can still run Windows. It depends on the hardware and software compatibility.

I anticipate numerous individuals will purchase it since they opt for laptops or ready-made systems that already include it, even though they can't clearly separate the cost of hardware from the software.

This link appears to point to a product page for Windows 10 Professional OEM keys. It’s likely legitimate, but always verify the seller and reviews before purchasing.

He had installed Windows 10 on that computer before, but he downgraded it because it didn’t work well. Now it’s completely broken—his condition was pretty bad, just a few injuries but he’s fine. The laptop got hit in the ribs and is bent; it still boots sometimes, though the screen isn’t functioning.
