This usually happens when AHCI isn't turned on in the BIOS or when using outdated IDE ATA/ATAPI drivers from outdata IDE. You'll need to switch to "Standard SATA AHCI Controllers." Despite this, I'm still struggling to resolve the problem—some SSDs work while others don't. Windows reports it can't back TRIM for that drive, but Crystal DiskInfo says it is available. A reboot might help.

I resolved it myself. Dynamic volumes can't be reduced in size. I converted my dynamic volume into a regular volume. I used the minitool partition manager, which allowed me to trim it.
