Your phone has an advantage of call transferring but kde connect has advantage of insanely fast file sharing (which is almost double the speed of wired transfer on my phone, I once dropped a 13 GB Video file in 6 mins over 5Ghz wifi network, Speed depends on router too) and realtime clipboard sync-functionality for non samsung phones. Remote mounting etc. I never felt bad for not having call function as I have my phone in my surrounding anyway but will be great addition on kde.
