I just discovered an odd bug in my Windows system. When I try to shut it down, it only records the username and doesn’t actually power off. Pressing the power button shows the username but doesn’t trigger shutdown. Using the command prompt with shutdown -t 0 also logs the action instead of shutting down properly. Before logging off, the system displays a shutdown message, then after the user logs back in.

Attempt to boot from an Ubuntu USB or another live Linux distribution and verify shutdown functionality.
