I've experienced really high ping throughout the day lately, often between 90-120 and sometimes reaching 200. My speed tests show results from 80-100 or even 30, but at night I can play smoothly with 19 ping. It seems like my connection might be affected by school holidays since my friends go to bed on schedule. This is really annoying because I want to play games without interruptions. Should I try adjusting settings or contact my ISP for help?

It seems your connection is being limited by network congestion. I experienced similar issues with Comcast before switching to Verizon, which provided faster performance.

They probably can't or won't address it. The problem is just overloaded networks. You'd be better off reaching out to the provider instead of trying to contact the government.

It's been just this way for about two weeks now. I've been working with them for over a year.

It might be an over-sold connection. If you can access the internet via a cable provider, they could have over-sold the node. This means the number of users connected to it exceeds what the fiber link from the node to the ISP can handle. During the day fewer people are likely using less bandwidth, so more capacity becomes available.

This situation has occurred before. I believe it's due to a bandwidth restriction.

It seems your connection is getting worse. I think the tower you're using might be overloaded. Like with cable internet, each tower acts as a point of connection. Most often they use fiber for the internet link. When more people are online, the service slows down.
