They usually answer these kinds of questions, but I'm on a 1-gig internet plan with download speeds around 30 Mbps and upload at 2.5 Mbps. I'm using the Cobo modem router, which should work fine despite a wall, printer, and just 10 feet distance. I'm also using DSL. I checked and it seems similar results on Ethernet too. What's the issue? Also, when I upgrade my computer soon, the motherboard supports both 2.5Gb and 1Gb—does that mean my router and ISP need to support 2.5Gb or 3.5Gb? And if my board has both 2.5Gb and 1Gb ports, connecting them together should give you 3.5Gb speeds, right?
