I just assembled my new gaming PC and verified all cables were secure. After plugging in and turning it on, there was no display—despite connecting the HDMI cable to the GPU. The motherboard LEDs lit up in sequence: orange, then red, followed by white and finally green after a short delay. I attempted to re-seat the GPU, swapped it with another model, but the issue persisted. I avoided using the PSU’s included plug because it was a two-prong type; instead, I used a different PSU adapter. Around 2-3 seconds after startup, I heard a click from the PSU—this is unusual and could indicate a problem. My current setup includes: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F CPU (R7 5800X), RTX 2070 from Super Gigabyte WindForce, 16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz, Corsair Vengeance case, Hyper 212 Halo Black cooler, and a Corsair RM750X PSU. I managed to boot after reseating the CPU and using another GPU, but I’m still unable to access BIOS with my original GPU.
