You're facing issues with your internet speed and gaming performance despite a 150mbps connection. It sounds like the problem might be related to your ISP's service quality or network congestion. Have you checked for any recent changes in your plan or router settings? Let me know if you want help troubleshooting further.

The massive networking issue... Welcome to Comcast. Here’s my approach: Begin by installing wireshark. It lets you examine your network traffic and sort by device source. Launch it and run it (Little blue fin) while playing games and noticing packet loss. Afterward, stop it and scan for IP addresses marked red or brown. These indicate corrupted data or loss. If the same IP consistently shows packet loss, the server is likely the culprit. If it appears across all IPs you use—different servers, games, streaming, Discord—then routing problems or your local Comcast connection may be the cause. It gets more complex, but this gives a starting point. Also test during different times of day and days of the week to see if congestion is local.

There might be a problem with the signal. It could originate from Comcast or stem from an issue with your home wiring or connectors. Reviewing the signal on the modem's diagnostic webpage will provide clarity.

I wouldn't suggest this path for anyone unfamiliar with networking. It's likely to cause more confusion than help.
