Overheating issue with Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge, maximum fan operation, black display.
Hey there, it's been a while since I've used this GPU, and it doesn't come with any warranty left. To calm down, I've been having some issues with it in games lately. Over the past few months, every time I try to play a game, the temperatures climb fast and the fan kicks up to 100% quickly. It gets really loud too. Even in CPU-heavy games like CS2, this happens. After playing for a while, my monitor just turns off completely, and the GPU keeps spinning at full speed. Once the screen goes dark, the PC still stays unresponsive, so I have to shut it down by pressing the power button.
The specs are: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, 8-core processor, Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL 16GB, TUF Gaming B550-M, DeepCool PK750D 750W PSU, Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge. The GPU temps are normal when idle, but after benchmarking in CS2 Workshop, I'm curious what's causing this problem.
