Hello! The key details are: a Ryzen 7700x with a Corsair H100i AIO cooler, side panels removed, and the pump linked to the CPU fan header. Despite this setup, the CPU continues to overheat before you can even start installing Windows.

If the pump and fans are functioning properly, the problem is probably a mount or contact issue. You can quickly assess the pump's RPM in the BIOS by holding the housing while checking for vibrations—this is the main step before opening anything. If everything appears normal, you can remove the pump block and examine the paste spread to determine if the contact was adequate. A healthy contact usually indicates the cooler has failed internally.

If it comes down to checking contact with CPU, make sure there isn't any plastic peel you forgot to leel off from the pump. @-rascal- @PDifolco

Verify temperature patterns when BIOS is active; rapid spikes suggest poor cooling but no immediate overheating within 30 seconds. Inspect the pump operation—Corsair AIOs seem to have unusual connectors, so confirm all components are securely connected.
