Overheating issue with Hybrid GPU MSI Sea Hawk
I purchased a RTX 3080 Sea Hawk hybrid GPU. It operated normally with stable temperatures initially, but the next day it suddenly jumped from a comfortable temperature to around 50°C, then rapidly climbed to 93°C within seconds when under load. I noticed the pump activated and fans spun as usual. Could an air bubble somewhere be causing this issue? How might I resolve it?
Are you referring to the same card you mentioned earlier, where you noted it performed well but the audience was always very energetic? You seem to be wondering if key moments were overlooked.
It seems a fan pin wasn’t fully secured, but it’s now fixed. Overheating disappeared after I placed the PC flat on the table and positioned the radiator directly above the GPU, adjusting the airflow. For optimal results, consider placing the radiator in a spot that allows proper exhaust flow.
