I upgraded my i7-8700k to 4.8mhz and 3.4v. Running stress tests on AIDA64 for about a minute was manageable, though temperatures stayed between 70c and 90c. The CPU would throttle under load, so I stopped the test to avoid damage. This was costly, but I’m learning from it.
