Hello! Today I installed an i7 9700 on my PC, but I'm still using the stock Intel cooler while playing at high FPS like 240. The CPU temperature spikes to around 95°C, which is definitely not normal. I'm wondering if this is typical with the stock cooler, especially since I have a SockTec Intel trashy cooler. I'm planning to buy water cooling, hoping it will bring the temperature down.

Only the latest intel stock cooler seems to make a difference. You don’t have to rely on water cooling; there are many good air coolers available that perform well at a lower cost.

In reality, there are many possibilities. Still, I’d definitely consider the stock cooler first.

The system should handle the heat well for an i7 9700. Make sure your case accommodates a 240mm radiator.

I understand, the space is 240mm, but I’m having trouble finding details about that cooler. Does it automatically adjust fan speed like the original, or is it always running at maximum speed like some cheaper models? Thanks for clarifying!

Based on your fans' connection method, there are various ways to adjust speed and curve. If you have an external controller, simply use it. For fans directly linked to your MoBo, software options like AI Suite or Polychrome may be used, depending on your board. Alternatively, third-party apps such as HW Monitor or Speedfan can be employed. Different applications offer varying levels of performance.

Le produit indique qu'il utilise des ventilateurs PWM à 4 broches. Ce sont les ventilateurs que vous pouvez régler via le BIOS de votre carte mère. Vous ne pouvez pas ajuster les ventilateurs à 3 broches. J'ai rencontré ce problème moi-même, je parle français comme deuxième langue.
