Right now my 8700k is running at 4.6 ghz without changing the voltage, and everything seems fine. I’m wondering if there’s a suitable voltage setting for pushing it up to 4.8ghz, or if I might not need to adjust anything at all.

Did you just set the multiplier to x46 and save it with all other changes on auto? You'll need to do a lot of reading before you begin adjusting voltages.

Thank you for the assistance. Yesterday I achieved a chip rating of 4.8, but it was affected by thermal throttling under load. I reduced it to 4.7 and achieved stable performance at 1.32 volts with temperatures between 60-70°C. I was concerned about overclocking this chip because of the previous issues with the 8700k and ASRock Z390 motherboard, which required a RMA due to BSODs that appeared immediately after turning on my PC. No troubleshooting resolved the problem, so I couldn't be sure if the issue was with the motherboard or if I inadvertently overclocked without adjusting the voltage settings.
