Hi
When I attempt to overclock the CPU inside my BIOS, I consistently encounter a black screen. I tested 3.6ghz at stock voltage but it didn’t work—just a complete black screen. Even when I set it to 3.6ghz with 1.3V, the issue repeated. I had to remove the battery to reset the CMOS. Anyone have any insight into what might be happening?
I can run the motherboard in game boost mode and it reaches 3.2ghz, but I’d like to achieve a higher speed without using software.

OC is a silicon lottery. Stick to the instructions:
http://www.overclockers.com/amd-ryzen-ov...ing-guide/
Increase OC by 100MHZ at each step and test with benchmarks. Based on what you say, I believe you'll reach around 3.4 and 3.5 will become unstable.
