In short, I actually didn’t realize it was overclocking. I switched the mode to 3.9 GHz and saved, then exited. Windows wouldn’t boot at first. After turning it off and back on, I adjusted the frequency to 3.75 GHz while gaming. Windows started repairing itself, but when I opened Chrome it crashed again. After restarting, the repair tool said something was wrong and suggested a restart. Now I’m trying to figure out what’s going on.

Update your system to the default settings and check if it resolves the issues. Gradually implement adjustments until you identify the root cause.

It seems your CPU hits 3.725 GHz and the system freezes. What might be happening?

Did you change the voltage to make it better? What adjustments are you making and how are you checking your CPU?

Not every processor is the same. How are you tweaking your configurations? Are you relying on Ryzen Master or adjusting via the BIOS?

I'm connecting via the BIOS, using the B450 Aorus Pro Wi-Fi, and the voltage is set to auto.

Essentially, the maximum boost is 3.725 GHz. It doesn’t go higher because changing the BIOS to 3.9 GHz and saving didn’t work—Windows wouldn’t boot. The only solution is enabling the Auto option. Are there any steps you can take to resolve this?
