I've recently upgraded to a Ryzen 5 1600 with my GTX 1060 6gb. Overall, this setup seems to function quite well, though I'm encountering some unusual problems in certain games that others seem to have already faced (as reported on YouTube). I decided to try overclocking myself. The interesting part is that after moving from the stock 3.2 to a stable 3.6/3.7, I haven't noticed any improvement in FPS across any of the games I've played, including those where I'm experiencing difficulties (see below for details).

Is this typical? Are there any practical ways to verify if my overclock is actually helping? If not, then it might not be worth maintaining the boost.

The games I'm struggling with are:
Destiny 2
- Experiences a sudden drop to 40fps when many players are nearby. This is usually acceptable elsewhere, but I remain at 60fps.
Just Cause 3
- Generally maintains 60fps most of the time, though it dips to 50fps in some areas.
The Evil Within 2
- It seems like a common issue for many users, but I can't sustain 60 FPS even on the lowest settings. My average is between 40 and 55 fps.
After overclocking, I expected some FPS gains, but nothing has changed.

In reality, I'm beginning to question whether my Ryzen or GTX 1060 are underperforming. For instance, in Just Cause 3, I see others with the same system on YouTube consistently achieving 60fps, and sometimes even higher when unlocked (70/80).

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
