My signature matches the current specifications.
I don’t use my PC as a workstation.
I’d like my CPU to increase only when necessary, not constantly under pressure.
I’ve turned on DOCP and set RAM speed to 3000MHz in BIOS. It automatically boosts my CPU to around 4.325Ghz during games.

Is this the right approach for what I’m aiming for, or should I also overclock the main CPU?
I haven’t made any changes in the BIOS settings yet.

The RAM speed affects how quickly the Infinity Fabric connects between CCXs, which means Ryzen chips gain an advantage when using faster RAM.
Docp is a solid choice for saving time. You can rely on it whenever needed. For better performance, I’d consider boosting the RAM to 3400 or 3600. Tools like Typhoon Burner and Dram calculator can assist with that. There are many guides available to guide you through the process.
Activate PBO and DOCP settings. Increasing the voltage on the can may cause CPU wear because of the extra power needed for stability.
