Overclocking Ryzen 3 2200G Improve performance by adjusting settings for better speed and efficiency.
I adjusted the default voltage from 1.4 to 1.3 and everything works smoothly. Temperatures during gaming stay below 60°C. The system runs at 3.7Ghz via the BIOS (Asus Prime X370 Pro). Everything functions well without any issues. My main question is whether these voltages are safe under load. At idle it doesn’t drop below 1.275V, and it doesn’t exceed 1.4V even when under stress. Is there a way to configure idle voltages or is this sufficient? Also, what’s the recommended safe GPU voltage setting right now?
Setting Ryzen in OC mode by manually adjusting the multiplier fixes the voltage. The slight variation you notice comes from the LLC controller.
I don't have opinions about what's deemed "safe" in OC. Others might have different views.
