Hi everyone,
I'm just starting out with overclocking. I own the Aorus RTX 2080 Xtreme and used the Aorus software to boost the GPU to 1900 MHz. However, when idle it drops to around 400 MHz during gaming, and even during benchmarking it can exceed 1900 MHz (often between 1950 and 2000 MHz). Should it behave this way or should it stay near 1900 MHz?
Thanks.

It's functioning properly. The GPU will slow down when idle and then quickly increase back to its maximum based on the game or software. I use MSI Afterburner for overclocking, which works well and there are many tutorials available to help achieve optimal results.
