Motherboard: MSI x370 Pro Carbon RAM: Corsair 32GB 3200mhz CPU: Ryzen 1600 Hi! My initial PC setup used 2x4GB 3200mhz RAM, which operated at that speed. Around Christmas I upgraded to 2x8GB 3200mhz, and it also ran at 3200mhz. Those were great times. Now I’ve added another 2x8GB 3200mhz, but the A-XMP profile blocks booting, showing a safe shutdown at 2100mhz. What might be causing this issue? I’ve tested the newest BIOS versions and Release updates, but the problem persists. I’ve also adjusted RAM speed manually, sometimes reaching 2800mhz.

Adjust the clock speed to 3200MHz and increase the voltage beyond the usual 1.35V. Raise it to about 1.45 of the maximum power, which should resolve the problems.

It differs from the original setup. Check SPD documentation for XMP support. If missing in BIOS, install AIDA64, navigate to motherboard → SPD, adjust frequency, timings, and DRAM voltage manually.

Check AIDA64 for timing details or use Extreme Memory Profile. The 1600MHz figure from Emp seems to be a reference point.

I've attempted the first suggestion from @GoldenLag. The BIOS still failed to load properly. I've performed some troubleshooting steps. I placed each pair of 16GB into the motherboard, and they worked individually at 3200Hz. However, when all four were connected together, the frequency dropped to 3200mhz.

There are four RAM sticks installed. This likely explains the issue. The processor model you're using might require adjusting the voltage settings.
