Overclocking Ram - Rebooting
Hi guys, just wanted to check in. I’ve been overclocking my RAM to 2933mhz on my setup. However, I’ve noticed something odd—just a small issue, nothing major. After leaving the PC off for a while, like turning it off at night and opening it up the next morning, the first thing that happens is when I press the power button: it blinks, there’s the boot sound, and then it restarts before going through the normal boot process. Is this something typical for my system? When I overclock to 2666mhz, it never happens like this. Just curious if it’s normal to experience one reboot before opening the PC. Thanks!
If the performance increase from 2666 to 2933 is worth it to you, I'd raise the voltage and SOC voltage (no more than 1.1v on SOC voltage, or at least, I wouldn't....especially at that speed). If you're not seeing much in the way of a performance increase....why bother? Run it where it's stable.

Sorry forgot to include the specs.
I’ve looked into overclocking since Ryzen’s default speed is 2133mhz; I tried 2666mhz for a week and then 2933mhz. When there’s no power, it restarts and boots normally after one reboot.
The BIOS is up to date with version F7 Agesa.
Have you tried any software to test this?
The XMP profile should configure it to operate at 1.35v. You might need to boost the voltage for stability. The memory was designed for operation at 1.35v. For a regular clock and adequate airflow, up to 1.4v is acceptable, but avoid exceeding that for daily use.
The speed remains at 2933mhz after applying the XMP profile and setting it to that frequency; I didn’t make any further adjustments since it initially worked well. However, when the PC is turned off it emits a beep three times before restarting. It might need more power. Yes, I have good airflow and a spacious NZXT case.
