I wanted to understand the advantages and disadvantages of overclocking a CPU. I've heard it can reduce its lifespan, but I'm curious about the extent. Can you try running a Ryzen 3 1200 on a stock cooler without adjusting voltage or other settings? Thank you.
i would place ram at the fastest jedec they could achieve, apply the axmp option, and observe the improvement in cpu speed without adjusting any voltages.
