Hi all,
This is my initial attempt at overclocking and I'm still learning the ropes. It's an older build that I recently upgraded to make use of it.
System specs:
Q9550 w/ CoolerMaster Hyper212 EVO
ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo
8GB DDR2 RAM OCZ2V8002G and OCZ2G8004GK, mixed types... old build

EVGA 750 GQ
Samsung SSD 850EVO 250gb
ATI Radeon HD4870 1gb
Current BIOS settings:
CPU Ratio Setting: AUTO
FSB Frequency: 333
Stock settings:
I experimented by adjusting CPU Ratio Setting to 8.5 and FSB Frequency to 350 at AUTO voltage, but anything else caused the PC to fail to start. It seems I might be making a mistake, unless my budget RAM is restricting performance?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
