Hi there, I’m planning to purchase a motherboard this month and wanted to find out if the MSI H81-P33 can be overclocked. Right now I have a 4590, but I intend to upgrade to a 4670k or 4690k in the future. Can I perform some level of overclocking on this one? My budget doesn’t allow me to buy any Z87 or Z97 boards. Thanks.

It is not applicable. On this platform, only Z series boards allow overclocking and only K series CPUs, with the exception of the G3258, can be overclocked via the multiplier.

It is not applicable. This platform allows overclocking solely on Z series boards and K series CPUs, with the exception of the G3258 which can be overclocked via the multiplier.
