I'm using an RTX 2080 and tried overclocking to boost performance. With MSI Afterburner, my core clock is at +125. During memory overclocking, it reached +1100 without any issues with MSI Kombuster. I'm wondering if I should push the memory even further.

I'm pretty sure your 2080 Super has Samsung dies, with some tops reaching around +1350MHz while mine sits near +1280MHz. If you notice any artifacts during a Run Heaven or similar benchmark, consider easing back the overclock slightly. The actual performance gain will depend on core overclock settings and Vcore headroom.

Are you testing improvements and monitoring speed gains? Overusing VRAM may lead to a decline in performance.

Skip the benchmarks and just play some games. They'll give you a clearer idea of stability, particularly with Control if you own it.

Didn't realize whether I should increase it further, but I successfully reached +1400Mhz.
