Overclocking Manual for Gigabyte Aorus Master Z390 Newest BIOS F10 (as of 10/28/19)
Seeking recommendations for the latest updated overclocking instructions for the newest Gigabyte Z390 F10 BIOS. I need more resources since some previous options are missing. I’m attempting to manually overclock an i9-9900ks and am currently stuck at 5.1 ghz with sustained boost across all cores using a clock ratio adjustment of 51 with MCE enabled. This causes excessively high board voltages (up to 1.376), though I struggle to achieve stable core turbo boost manually. I want to lower the Vcore manually, but when I try to adjust the core voltage and disable MCE, the cores only maintain the 5.1 boost for a few seconds before dropping back to 5.0. The earlier BIOS guides aren’t very useful now since I’m using F10, which is meant for i9-9900ks. CPU temperatures remain low, rarely going above 75°C, which is great, but I still want to reduce voltage if possible to protect the chip. I’m experienced with overclocking and haven’t faced this issue on my previous Asus Z370 board. Please help!
Hi! I’m still working well within those configurations, and temperatures haven’t increased much. I haven’t pushed the system as intensely as before when using flight sim. I’ve kept playing many FPS games at high or ultra settings without any crashes.
I also noticed I have less room to overclock my RAM because my CPU is already heavily overclocked.
Hope this helps!
