I also have a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and tried to overclock it, but everything ran much slower. After some research, the card didn’t last long without water cooling, so I reset it back to factory settings. Now my FPS are significantly lower than before I bought it. I’ve only been using this card for about two weeks and haven’t received any help with troubleshooting.

Overclocking isn't going to destroy your card completely. It may reduce its lifespan, but by the time it fails, it'll likely be much slower than current options... I'd prefer to try overclocking again.

Overclocking won't completely destroy your card, though it might reduce its lifespan. By the time it fails, it will likely be much slower than current options. I still experience low frame rates after overclocking. At factory settings, the GPU handles CS:GO smoothly at 250-300 FPS, but now it drops to 100-200. I invested $200 for better performance and don’t want to lose those gains. Any suggestions?

Why not restart your card to its original settings? That should bring you back to the beginning. After that, apply a slight modification and test its performance.

I followed all your suggestions, but now the frames keep getting worse. I’m not sure if it’s my CPU since I’ve heard it can cause bottlenecks with the GPU, but I have no idea what to do because I need my games to run smoothly but they’re really bad!

If I were you, I'd go ahead and delete and reinstall my graphics drivers. Also, could you clarify what you're using for the CPU?

If I were you, I'd go ahead and delete and reapply my graphics drivers... Also, what kind of CPU are you using? Intel Pentium G3258 at 3.20GHz.

Your chip seems to be limiting the card's performance... I found a relevant thread that could assist...
