I swapped my stock cooler for a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo. While assembling my PC, I faced budget constraints and ended up choosing an H77 motherboard instead of an Z77. I checked the specifications and learned that the H77 can be used for CPU overclocking. Currently, my clock speed stands at 3.6 Ghz. I'm using a Gigabyte H77-DS3H.

It seems highly unlikely, you won't even be able to BCLK overclock the motherboard.

unfortunately you can't boost performance beyond the limits on h77, you must use z77 motherboards to achieve that

You really can't push the speed beyond what's built into the system, you need the right motherboards to achieve that.
