How can I improve my Intel e8500's clock speed? I've reached 3.16GHz to 3.20GHz already, but there are no options to adjust the vcore or multiplayer settings. I'm aiming for at least 3.80GHz. Can you assist me with this?

Your CPU lacks an unlocked multiplier, and your motherboard only permits base clock (BCLK) overclocking. You might achieve a 200-300Mhz boost before the system begins to crash, but this seems unlikely given your power supply's condition. BCLK overclocking influences RAM and PCIe ports, which means the gains are limited and not worth the effort.

How should I upgrade my Intel e8500 to reach a higher clock speed? I’ve only managed up to 3.16gz to 3.20 and can’t find options for adjusting the vcore or multiplayer settings. I’d like to set it to manual first and then change the multiplier, even if the interface looks limited. What motherboard do you recommend?
