Hello everyone, I'm just starting out with this topic. I only have some knowledge about hardware. I own a good machine and believe I can improve it, but I need some guides.

I have an i7 7700K, GTX 1060 dual OC, 6GB DDR4 TRIDENT Z RGB at 2400MHz, a water cooler from Gamer Storm Captain 360, plenty of air cooling, and one hard drive of each type (M.2, SSD, HDD).

I think I need a better motherboard?
I usually just change the BIOS settings to X.M.P to increase my RAM usage (probably), so please help me!

There's a lot of info you need to read over before ocing and there is always an asus specific ocing guide. This probably goes into deeper depths than needed but it's a good read. https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/the...ing-guide/

There's no reason to get another mobo. Why do you think you need another one?

To safely increase the clock speed, I considered using a better MOBO, but I’m unsure. I believe this one already provides sufficient settings. I’m curious about which configurations are available in BIOS or if any software can handle this automatically. I know ASUS Republic of Gamers graphics supports this, but this particular model doesn’t.

If the mobo can oc, it's secure to oc. Always manually activate oc in bios. Avoid relying on auto occers.

Exactly. I don’t want to damage my PC and just throw in some random numbers because I’m not sure. I believe this prime has enough air to handle it, but I really want to set it up correctly with someone who truly knows about this.
Are you the overclocker expert I’m hoping to find?
