I'm just starting out with overclocking and wanted to know if this was typical. My 4790k reached 4.5 GHz with a core voltage of 1.215v and a Corsair H100i GTX cooler. I reapplied the thermal paste yesterday. It seems stable, but temperatures hit 85 degrees after a few minutes in Prime95. Fans are running at max speed and the pump is in performance mode. I think I could push it higher with more voltage, but it's already getting quite hot. Is this temperature normal for this processor and cooler? It looks like others are managing lower temps even at higher voltages.

I was running the latest Prime95 version which caused very high temperatures, but after downloading 26.6 I’m only reaching around 70 degrees. Appreciate the help, still getting the hang of overclocking.
