Overclocking i5-6600k cpu help
Hi, I'm just starting out with overclocking and haven't done it before. I'm trying to overclock my i5-6600k but on my motherboard (ASRock H170A) I can't find the overclock multiplier. I only have a few tabs in the overclock settings and tried using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, but it doesn't let me adjust the multiplier. Any help would be really appreciated.

In earlier times, certain motherboard manufacturers created methods to support high BCLK overclocking levels, though Intel discontinued this approach and removed the enabling BIOS updates.

If you aim to overclock, a Z170 motherboard is necessary, which is why the overclock multiplier isn't available in the BIOS.
There are no options to significantly boost performance. The photos attached show issues with my BIOS, but the quality isn't great. You might be able to improve BCLK by a small margin, around 2-3%, but only if you have a Z170 or Z270 motherboard. Without that, leaving about 25% of performance untapped is a real loss.
